Potholes – Streets or Sidewalks Need Repair?

Are you satisfied with Richmond’s streets and sidewalks? What improvements need to be made? Are you happy with Slurry or liquid paving on your street? Should Richmond City Council create a Citizen Involved, Streets and Sidewalks Commission, to determine which projects are funded, and exactly the type of paving material or Slurry is used? At present, why is this left to a staff person who is not in touch with, or accountable to citizens? Aren’t they spending our money?

What is up with the slurry mess going down over our existing pavement? I wonder if Chesterfield and Henrico are getting this same mess? Who decides what goes on our streets? My city councilor says she is powerless.

Nicaraua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere.

I know from decades of personal experience that the roads and streets on the eastern side of Nicaragua are better than the roads and streets in RVA.

There is a pothole as big as a car in our back alley. We have called 311 three times and our council member twice. What does it take to fix something in Richmond?

Compare Richmond’s pothole riddled streets with Henrico. No comparison. If we pay much higher taxes, where does the money go?
